To: Johanna Hartman <petlove.promo@
Jo Anna,
Khali has arrived safe and sound, she is so pretty - expressive eyes.
Slept briefly in my arms on the way home - otherwise she is running and
hopping around.Thinks Skipper may be fun - especially that nice tail -
Skipper is not amused, ran away.
Khali was very thirsty ate alittle dry food - then I heated up some
of the ground beef rice veggie dinner we had prepared before she came home
- holy cow big appetite, ate three helpings before I said enough ( I thought
she was going to have it all come back up again) sent her and David outside.
They came back soon after, Khali fell asleep.
Thank you so much for her Jo Anna, we loved her before she ever came
here.I will keep you updated and send pictures, hope to get a digital soon.

Hi JoAnna,
Well we picked up Nanook yesterday and she is even more beautiful and
sweet in person. She is gentle and loving and smart! Her first night
here she howled at about 1:00 am and my husband took her outside and she
went to the bathroom. She went the whole night in her den without making a
mess. Everytime she feels like she needs to go to the bathroom she makes
a little whimper and when we take her out, she goes! She is amazing!!!! She
is surrounded by lots of love and our family is now truly complete with
our little girl!
I can't thank you enough for the happiness that our family will have
with this new family member. God bless you and your family. We will
send pictures when we are able. Thanks again.
The Legere Family,
Louie, Kathy, David, Alex, Eric and Nanook

Hi JoAnna,
Just wanted to let you know that even with the delays at the airport,
the pick-up went well. I was able to get a customs agent to stick around
until 8:15pm CST to clear the pup. She's beautiful, everything we could
have hoped for, and those eyes. She has adjusted well and has become very
comfortable in her new environment. I will send you photos of her soon.
Thank you for all your help, it has really been a pleasure, I will
keep you updated on her growth progress.
Again thank you,

Hi JoAnna,
Thought I'd let you know, our puppy boy, Rufus, is doing great! He is
adjusting so well, and seems so happy all the time. We have cuddled
lots with him, we keep him in our bedroom at night, made his bed beside
ours, but he also spends a lot of time during the night in bed with us! He has
not been left alone yet, for even a moment, someone is always with him
so far,(it has just worked out that way), and our other 2 dogs are accepting
him, especially our one year old Wiley, they play more and more with
each other every day, and today, Rufus fell asleep on Wiley. Just thought
you'd want to know how well he is doing. Hope all is going well with the
rest of your brood, and that you are getting them all off safely as you did
with our puppy.

Good Morning JoAnna:
I wanted to let you know our newest member "Stoli" has arrived safe
and
sound. He is currently exploring the back yard. He is so dang funny
with
that little squeaky bark, attacking towels and shoes and anything else&
he can find...hahahahaha.
Thank you again for everything, he is a very welcome addition to our
family. I am amazed at his bladder control, no messes in his kennel
when
he arrived, but he was ravenous and very thirsty, but we fixed all
that...*S*
Have a great weekend and we will keep in touch!!

Dear Johanna:
I just wanted to see how everything was going with you and also give
you an update on Stoly. He is doing great and growing unbelieveable.
He already weighs 33 lbs! Also, he has had an allegric reaction to
one set of his puppy vaccines and he was stung by a bee last night and
had another allegeric reaction. Other than the reactions, he has
not had any problems and has made the perfect addition to Steve and I's
family--we just love him so much.
Sincerely,Michelle Gill

Subject: Kola the Superstar
Good Morning Joanna,
I am writing to brag to you again about the amazing life force you
sent to us. Kola is exceeding our expectations in obedience class....she
is doing instinctual things that can not be taught. For example,
a portion of the class is the puppies "play time" where everyone is allowed
off lead and it is time to play and socialize. During playtime, Kola
plays very aggressively, very intense then seems to stop and look for Jason.
She will actually come over to him and kind of check in so to speak.
Her trainer was impressed and I was beaming. She now knows sit, down
(lay down), loose leash walking w/ collar and stay is her newest command.
That is her and Jason's homework this week. Kola shows no food bowl
aggression whatsoever. Lacey, Glover and Kola have even been known
to drink water at the same time from the same bowl. If you recall
from the pictures there was a time when Kola was to little to join in.
Those days have passed. She continues to grow and eat with a vengeance.
Her favorite snacks are apples. frozen carrots and frozen broccoli ends.
Kola now waits until her bowl is on the floor and Mom has stepped away
before she digs in. Boy was that a lot of work, can I tell ya?
I thought was going to lose a finger or two at first *S*. Another
neat thing we have noticed is when walking she enjoys being up front.
This is ok as long as she is loose leash (not pulling), she is so content
on the walks she seems to "trot" along happy as can be. Also when
we are walking with one of the other dogs, Kola will look back and make
sure everyone is there. You have to see this to believe it, another
amazing thing we love. She is improving with her biting of human
hand. We now yelp or high pitched ouch if she gets one of us.
It is always in play and never aggressive or mean, she just doesn't fully
understand we aren't actually dogs. When we react with the OUCH,
she stops and looks, like sorry. To be truthful with you Joanna,
as a family I believe that we all have a little husky in our souls.
I don't want to get to mushy but the six of us, my pack, Danny, Sam, Jason,
Kola, Glover and Lacey couldn't be happier. All our love to Allegro
and to Kola's Canadian Pack!!! I will send new PICS as soon as I
find a minute to develop, they will be posted. Also, I haven't had a chance
to send back her carrier yet. We are doing that for you, I
need more hours in a day or a body double!! *S*
As always, Be Well
Samantha

From: Sandra B Radford
Just wanted to let you know that Kota has settled in quite well. I
cannot tell you what a joy she has brought to this household. She seems
to enjoy our daily walks to the park although they really do tucker her
out. She is so curious and really observes everything around her. Our
cats and other dogs are accepting her quite well and have finally
realized that she is here to stay.
Just want to thank both of you again for taking such good care of her and
for making it possible for her to be a part of our family. It is sooooo
appreciated. Will keep you posted as we move along.
Thanks again
